Agreement to terms

By adding Affilify to your Discord server, installing it as a personal app, or using any of its commands, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use Affilify.

What Affilify does

• Cleans and tags Amazon links with an affiliate tracking tag.
• Lets server owners and administrators configure their own tag and footer text.
• Shows link-generation statistics via /stats.
• Works in Discord servers, direct messages, and group chats.

Acceptable use

You may use Affilify to process Amazon links for legitimate purposes, configure affiliate settings if you're a server administrator, and use it in DMs or group chats via your personal installation.

You may not use Affilify to violate Discord's Terms of Service or Community Guidelines, to spam or harass others, to process non-Amazon or otherwise inappropriate content, or to attempt to bypass, manipulate, or reverse-engineer its affiliate tracking or security measures.

Affiliate link disclosure

Affilify generates Amazon affiliate links that may earn a commission — for the server's configured tag when one has been set via /configure, or for the developer's own tag as a fallback when no server (or DM user) configuration exists. By using Affilify, you acknowledge this affiliate relationship. See the Privacy Policy for what is and isn't stored in connection with this.

Amazon's Associates Program requires a clear disclosure next to any affiliate link. Affilify's default reply includes one. Setting a custom footer via /configure replaces that default note entirely — if you customize it, you're responsible for keeping a clear affiliate disclosure in your own text (for example: "This is an affiliate link — we may earn a commission"). Read the actual requirements yourself in Amazon's Associates Program Operating Agreement and Participation Requirements — don't take our word for it.

Server administrator responsibilities

If you add Affilify to your server, you're responsible for the tracking tag and footer you configure, for keeping a compliant affiliate disclosure in any custom footer text (see above), for complying with the Amazon Associates Program Terms under your own account, and for informing your members that affiliate links may be in use.

Service availability

Affilify is provided on an "as-is," "as-available" basis. We don't guarantee uninterrupted uptime, and functionality may change, be suspended, or be discontinued at any time, including for maintenance or security updates.

Intellectual property

Affilify's source code is proprietary and not publicly available. Discord and Amazon are trademarks of their respective owners; Affilify is not affiliated with either.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits or affiliate commissions, service interruptions, or actions taken by Amazon or Discord. We don't guarantee Amazon Associates commission payments, and you're responsible for your own tax reporting of any affiliate earnings.

Termination

We may restrict access for violations of these Terms, or discontinue the service, with reasonable notice where practical. You can stop using Affilify at any time by removing it from your server or uninstalling the personal app. Liability and indemnification provisions survive termination.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Germany. Disputes will first be handled through good-faith negotiation.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect immediately upon posting here. Continued use of Affilify after a change means you accept it.
